Curious which stories you will be able to watch? Here are three of our favourites to get you started.
Our 3 favourites:
Joseph
Available from September 9

Jealousy, betrayal, imprisonment and, ultimately, salvation: Joseph’s story has everything you could want from a compelling biblical drama. As Jacob’s favorite son, he arouses great jealousy in his brothers, who eventually sell him into slavery. In Egypt, Joseph faces major setbacks, but through it all he continues to trust in God. In the end, God turns the evil done to Joseph into good and uses him to save many lives.
The film was shot in Ouarzazate, Morocco, where the sweeping landscapes convincingly bring ancient Egypt to life. Ben Kingsley takes on the role of Potiphar, while Paul Mercurio plays Joseph.
Esther
Available from September 30

A young Jewish woman becomes queen and faces a life-or-death choice: remain silent and protect herself, or answer her calling and risk everything to save her people. Esther is a powerful story of courage, faith and trusting God when everything is at stake. This adaptation shows how God can be at work even when He seems to remain in the background.
Esther was also filmed in Ouarzazate, Morocco. The desert landscapes give the film a historic and authentic feel. The leading roles include Louise Lombard as Esther and F. Murray Abraham as Mordecai.
Moses
Available from November 25

Moses never asked to become a leader. Yet God calls him to lead the people of Israel out of slavery in Egypt. What follows is an epic story of doubt, obedience, liberation and a God who never abandons His people.
The sweeping filming locations in Morocco transport you to the world of ancient Egypt and the time of Moses. With Ben Kingsley as Moses and Christopher Lee as the Pharaoh, this beloved Bible story receives an impressive adaptation.
